Meet The Angels!

PETER PIKKARA

“Hello there! I’m Peter Pikkara, an old hand at this virtual world stuff. My journey started some 10 years ago when I discovered Second Life. This was quite a find for me, as I am a designer in real life. Being able to create my perfect vision, even if I was the only one who would see it, was quite something. I absolutely loved it.

It was around 2008 that I started to get the OpenSim bug. I loved the technology, and although it was more buggy than steady for many years, that just led to the excitement that enveloped my new found passion. I started to play around with various ideas and created by first complete sim in December of that year. Christmas Island it was called and it was everything you’d expect from a place with that name. I really got so much pleasure from it.

Now, I’m here helping EscapeLands get off the ground. It’s exciting, because the ethos is very much in the favour of all of us who just want to create something that is near perfect. Will we make it? Well, it won’t be for the want of trying.
